BlueByrd Park
Our Story
BlueByrd started with three buses parked on a quiet patch of Colorado land. Jacob had restored each one by hand, creating not just homes, but a little community. When the other families moved on, he began searching for a way to bring that sense of connection back.
In 2022, Jacob met August, and everything changed. Together, they redesigned a vintage Airstream into a bright, cozy retreat — and discovered a shared love for creating spaces where people could rest, reconnect, and feel at home.
August’s longtime friend Maya, an architect with a passion for sustainable design, soon joined the journey. What began as a handful of buses grew into a vision for something bigger: a colorful, welcoming, and progressive campground rooted in creativity, hospitality, and care for the land.
Today, BlueByrd is home to four rental spots, each with its own story and charm. Tomorrow, it will be much more — we’re expanding into a new location with thoughtfully designed tiny homes and gathering spaces that invite community to thrive.
At our heart, we value people and place — from supporting local government and human rights to protecting nature and practicing sustainability. BlueByrd is more than a destination. It’s a way of living: colorful, creative, and connected.
