Our Mission

At Blue Byrd, our mission is to create a warm, welcoming escape where nature, creativity, and comfort come together. By blending rustic beauty with artisan experiences, hands-on workshops, and family-friendly charm, we offer guests more than a place to stay; we invite them into a way of life rooted in connection, craftsmanship, and Colorado’s wild spirit.

They really go the extra step to make sure you have everything you need and are very responsive. The local residents (chickens, birds, deer) were great neighbors. Cozy camper by the creek, surrounded by serenity and nature. This vintage Airstream has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Nestled in the woods at the edge of the mountains, this location provides easy access to many of Colorado's wonderful natural places. Away from the city, but close enough to Colorado Springs and Denver to take in the attractions in both cities. This lovingly restored tiny home with modern amenities makes a perfect launching point for city or mountain adventures.

Relax and enjoy the peace at this unique getaway. The Moon Cabin is a fun blend of modern tiny living in a serene natural setting.

Hiking Trails

Check out the Frink Creamery Trail at the end of the road, passing through Douglas County Open Space.

Plum Creek flowing right outside of your door. 

Wildlife 

Larkspur Park backs up to our property, enjoy the deer, beavers, turkies, and the bear.

Gazebo

Gather around the campfire at night and cook on the grill. It's a perfect way to end your adventurous days.
